Who this policy covers

Idea Dividend Publisher is a private, single-user tool. Its only user is its operator, who also owns the Idea Dividend YouTube channel. No other person's account or data is used.

Use of YouTube API Services

This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the user also agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

What data the tool accesses, collects, and stores

• Google authorization token. One OAuth token with the youtube.upload permission for the operator's own Google account. It is stored in the operator's private deployment secret storage. It is never written into the codebase, logs, or tickets.
• Upload results. After an upload, the tool stores the returned video ID, video URL, and the chosen visibility as part of its local run records.
• Public video metadata. The tool may read public metadata of source videos (for example the license field) through documented YouTube Data API methods.

The tool does not collect analytics, does not track viewers, and does not access any other person's YouTube data.

How the data is used

The data is used for exactly one purpose: uploading operator-approved videos and their reviewed metadata to the authorized Idea Dividend channel, and keeping a local record of what was uploaded. There is no advertising, profiling, or resale use.

Sharing with third parties

No user data or YouTube API data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party. Data flows only between the operator's machine and Google's YouTube API Services.

Security

The authorization token lives in dedicated secret storage on infrastructure the operator controls, separate from the application code. The review console runs only on the operator's local machine and is not reachable from the internet.

Deletion, disconnect, and revocation

The application has a visible Disconnect YouTube action. Using it:

1. revokes the Google authorization token programmatically with Google;
2. deletes the stored token from secret storage; and
3. deletes retained YouTube API data (such as stored upload records) held by the tool.

Revocation and deletion happen immediately when the action is used, and in every case within 7 days. Any backup copies are cleared within 30 days. Authorization can also be revoked at any time from Google's own security settings page; the tool checks its stored authorization and deletes data tied to a revoked authorization on the same schedule.
